NCP1200 位于 SO-8 或 DIP-8 封装内,是实现超紧凑型开关模式电源的重要飞跃。由于一种新型概念,该电路使用极少外部部件即可实施完整的离线电池充电器或待机 SMPS。另外,集成的输出短路保护让设计者能够构建与简单反馈方案相关联的极低成本 AC/DC 墙壁安装适配器。通过以固定的 40 kHz、60 kHz 或 100 kHz 频率运行的内部结构,该控制器可驱动 IGBT 或 MOSFET 等低门极电荷开关器件,因此需要非常小的运行功耗。由于电流模式控制,NCP1200 大幅简化了可靠低廉的离线转换器设计,且具有卓越的音频敏感性和内在的按脉冲控制。例如,在输出功率需求消失,电流设定点降至某个特定值以下时,该集成电路将进入所谓的跳过周期模式,在轻负载下提供卓越能效。因为这发生在低峰值电流时,所以不会发出噪音。最后,该集成电路为直流轨自供电,无需辅助绕组。此功能确保存在低输出电压或短路时的运行。
