The 600W-ACDC-GEVB is a complete reference design for a universal power supply capable of delivering 48V/12.5A DC. A 5V/2A DC output is also available for added flexibility. The PFC front end is equipped with an interleaved PFC controller NCP1632. The main converter providing 48V is a resonant LLC stage using the current mode resonant controller NCP1399. Two NCP4305 sync controllers provide synchronous rectification in the secondary. The 5V output is generated by a flyback converter using the offline regulator NCP1076. It also provides 12V for a cooling fan.
