The Ambient Light Sensor (ALS) and Proximity Shield Board uses an ASX340 image sensor in a novel fashion to add ambient light sensing and proximity detection functionality to the IDK and the B-IDK. This shield provides an alternative way to provide ambient light and proximity sensing features to sensing applications. The ALT-ALSPIR-GEVK shield connects to the IoT Development Kit (IDK) baseboard (BB-GEVK) and Bluetooth® IoT Development Kit (B-IDK) via the PMOD connector.
