NCL31000ASGEVB: NCL31000 Intelligent LED Driver Arduino Shield Evaluation Board

The NCL31000ASGEVB is an Arduino shield form factor evaluation board containing a single NCL31000MNITWG intelligent LED driver. It can be connected either with the Arduino interface to an MCU board, or through the I²C interface, for example via a USB adapter board to the PC. The NCL310xx family of intelligent LED drivers target luminaire applications. The NCL31000 incorporates a high efficiency buck LED driver that supports both high-bandwidth analog and PWM dimming down to zero current. Two auxiliary DC-DC converters are included to power a microcontroller and other peripherals, such as sensors. Diagnostics are included to measure input and output current and voltage, LED temperature and DC-DC voltages. The device is ideal for Visible Light Communication and Indoor Positioning.
