FAN5405 结合了高度集成的开关模式充电器,可最大程度缩短使用 USB 电源的单锂离子电池充电时间,还结合了一个升压稳压器以便从电池为 USB 外围器件供电。充电参数和运行模式可通过 I2C 接口进行编程,该接口运行速度可达 3.4 Mbps。充电器和升压稳压器电路在 3MHz 下进行切换,最大程度减小了外部无源组件的尺寸。FAN5405 以三个阶段提供电池充电:条件调节,恒定电流和恒定电压。为了确保 USB 合规性并最大程度减少充电时间,输入电流大小限于通过 I2C 主机设定的值。充电端接由可编程最低电流水平确定。带重置控制的安全计时器提供了 I2C 主机的安全备份。当电池电量低于内部阈值时,集成电路 (IC) 会自动重启充电周期。如果输入源被移除,该集成电路进入高阻抗模式,防止从电池到输入的泄漏。充电状态通过 I2C 端口报告回主机。当裸片温度达到 120℃ 时,充电电流会减小。FAN5405 可以在系统指令下作为升压稳压器运行。升压稳压器带软启动,能够限制来自电池的涌入电流。FAN5405 采用 1.96 x 1.87mm,20 凸块,0.4mm 间距 WLCSP 封装。
