The FD6000 device is a fully digital universal first stage intermediate bus controller. It can generate an output voltage as an exact ratio of the input voltage bus. Full set of telemetry and warnings, faults and protections are also embedded to ensure the maximum safe condition of such high power intermediate bus voltage. All of the required parameters are programmable through the PMBus interface. Maximum flexibility is achieved from the DCX−LLC converters supporting multiple topologies at the secondary sides like half or full bridge, center tap or current doubler. Adding discrete cascode FETs at the secondary side, the controller becomes agnostic of any conversion ratio, energy direction flow, and any input/output absolute voltages. Non−Volatile OTP Memory is included to store custom configurations.
