The NCL30076 is a DC-DC buck controller for wide dimming rangedown to 1% by analog dimming control to relieve audible noise and flickerin PWM dimming. ON’s proprietary LED current calculation techniquedriven by zero input offset amplifiers performs precise constant current inthe whole analog dimming range. Multi-mode operation provides highefficiency with minimized switching loss by QR at heavy load and deepanalog dimming by DCM at light load.
