NCP347 能够在检测到错误输入运行情况时将系统从其输出引脚断开。 该系统受高达 +28 V 的正向过电压保护。由于此器件使用内部 NMOS,无需外部器件,降低了系统成本和应用主板中的 PCB 面积。由于集成的低导通电阻功率 NMOS (65 mΩ,如果输入电压超过过电压阈值(5.63 、5.9 或 7.2 V),或 2.95 V (UVLO) 欠电压阈值),NCP347 能够瞬时将输出与输入断开。通电时(EN(BAR) 引脚 = 低电平),Vout 会在 Vin 超过欠电压阈值之后导通 50 ms。NCP347 提供负向转换标志 (FLAG(BAR)) 输出,会在发生故障时警告系统。另外,当使用 1.0 µF 或更大电容器进行旁路联接时,该器件还具有 ESD 保护输入 (15 kV Air)。
