NC7SZ57和NC7SZ58为通用可配置2输入逻辑门。 每个器件均能够配置为5个独特2输入逻辑功能的其中1个。 任何可能的2输入组合逻辑功能都可以进行实施,如“功能选择表”中所示。 根据器件在电路板级的布线方式选择器件功能性。 所有输入均已利用滞后现象实施。
该器件采用先进的CMOS技术制造,实现了超高速度和高输出驱动,同时能在很宽的VCC工作范围内保持较低的静态功耗。 该器件额定工作范围为1.65V至5.5V VCC。 当VCC为0V时,输入和输出处于高阻抗状态。 输入端容许电压达到5.5V,不受VCC工作范围的支配。
