The latest USB Power Delivery specification supported by the USB-C standard allows for power transfers of up to 100 watts (20 volts, 5 amperes), enabling fast charging. The USB Type-C standard allows for bidirectional power - this enables the product with ample power (Host or Peripheral) to provide the power to the other device.
The USB Power Delivery Specification offers Fast Role Swap capability – it enables the maximum functionality of USB by providing more flexible power delivery and data over a single cable simultaneously.
The USB Type-C ports can also support various protocols using Alternate Modes, which allows you to have adapters that can output HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort, or other types of connections from that single USB port. This one cable eliminates the need of having individual cables for each end device.Learn More about USB Type-C Power Delivery</a >
One port, One single cable: The USB-C (formally known as USB Type-C) is the newest standard for USB connectors, ports, and cables. The USB Type-C connector is a reversible, 24-pin, double-sided connector that offers connectivity to multiple end devices such as laptops, tablets, PCs, monitors, and smartphones with one single cable.
Almost all devices that support the USB 3.1 use the USB-C port. The USB 3.1 has a top speed of 10 Gbps and can deliver a power output of up to 20 volts (100 watts) and 5 amperes.
The USB Type-C allows every port to be your power, data, or video port.Learn More about USB Type-C</a >
