onsemi Takes Home Multiple Honors at the ASPENCORE World Electronics Achievement Awards and EE Awards Asia

The WEAA-award winning VE-Trac™ Direct SiC family is a highly-integrated silicon carbide (SiC) power module, with industry-standard formfactor for electric vehicle (EV) / hybrid and electric vehicle (HEV) traction inverter application. The module integrates the second generation of 900V SiC M2 MOSFET technology from onsemi in a 6-pack configuration, with a low turn on resistance (Rds on) 1.7 mΩ, to achieve a new level of performance, efficiency and quality. The SiC-based power modules enable longer range, faster acceleration and improved reliability for EVs.

Specifically designed for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), the sensor product award winner AR0820AT 8.3-megapixels CMOS digital image sensor forms a fundamental part of the vision system that detects objects in the vehicle’s path, including pedestrians and other vehicles, increasing road safety. With features including higher dynamic range, enhanced low light performance, real-time functional safety mechanisms and fault detection, this sensor delivers next-generation image detail for ADAS and ultimately enables new capabilities for fully autonomous vehicles with high-resolution, 360-degree vision.
