Solid-state transformer (SST) is a power electronic transformer that uses semiconductor-based AC/DC and DC/DC conversion for efficient, intelligent power distribution. SST architecture features modular SST cells, sensing, isolation, MCU control, protection, and industrial communication interfaces.
